DT 121- Storytelling and iPhones

As is usual every September Apple announced new iPhones for an eager and rabid audience.  It remains to be seen if this year's crop of new iOS devices does indeed find a willing audience.

DT 120 - Back to School, & iPhone Rumours

Jumping right into the school year, we have 2 superb Back to School guests. Annemarie Tempelman-Kluit, of Yoyomama offers some great apps to help get families and kids organised.

Our favorite day of the month, App Wednesday. This week we we welcome a new guest as Isaac Kendall makes his maiden appearance on App Wednesday. Art Factora, and David Hathaway provided some really compelling apps, This week may have had the best so far, but it was John Biehler yet again coming through with this weeks top app, Fast Camera,

This week we are joined by Greg Milkovich of Belkin and Mathieu Whelan if Linksys as we discuss the Connected House.
Belkin has a really compelling line of home automation technology, WeMo, Greg fills us in on how and where it fits in the home.
Then Mathieu leads a lively (yes lively) discussion of Wifi, I can guarantee WiFi has never beenmore interesting!
Mike Vardy slides in to discuss distraction, and how we can avoid it while writing.

DT 116 - App Wednesday Strut Your Stuff!

Defending champion John Biehler was in no mood to relinquish his crown this week as Rebecca Bollwitt, David Hathaway and Art Factora came in with high expectations. 

Summertime apps and photo apps ruled the day as Rebecca put forward Swim Guide, which rates the cleanliness of beaches, and Dave, Art and John all put digital photography and video apps into the mix.

In the end, as is so often the case John Biehler came up aces with this weeks winning app………Strut.

 

DT 115 - Get Fit and Mobility on Vacation

Summer is finally here, at least in Vancouver! Much of the rest of Canada seems to be experiencing biblical flooding!
Just as our thoughts went out over the last few weeks to our friends in Alberta, we are now thinking of our friends and family in Toronto, as they experienced some incredible precipitation this week!
We do have, a terrific lineup on this week show. We are starting things off with the Go Fit Gals, who have built an online workout program. Just in time, I noticed that my speedo was a tad tight.

Dotto Tech 112 - App Wednesday

As usual this App Wednesday was an outstanding show!

John Biehler reclaimed the crown of glory that has eluded him for the past several months. Reigning champ Connor Meakins brought some very cool apps to the table including the terrific personal improvement app, ;http://lift.do and Art Factora injected his usual mix of humor and practicality. But this show was a two horse race between David Hathaway and John. David hit some home runs with Dumb Ways to Die and Fatify (which includes the aformentioned fart feature). John however, had several solid contenders including the ultimate app of the week, Ingress.
